_project Name: Maritime City Tower

_location: Dubai, UAE

_brief: A tower to act as a welcome beacon within the maritime development.

_considerations: Intelligent parking facilities, as the site is a on a narrow, linear peninsula.

_response: Expressed as a two-sided structure with each side sea-facing. Wind turbines located near the top of the structure and photovoltaic panels on its roof provide 90% of the building's energy requirements, including a fully-automated underground parking system.The steel skin sides are perforated with a series of cantilevered glass offices which give dramatic effect.
